    The present moment is the richest thing we have. To be here now in 3D form. To exist on this plane with severe polarity and duality so we know contrast. To sign up for such a dense planet so we can excel in soul growth. How brave are we. To lower ourselves in frequency. To forget our origins, our divinity, and fallen slump to a world of unconsciousness and unawareness. Unawareness that the real truth of our being is Love, the real truth of our being is Light. And there is more to this simulation than what meets the eye.

    Setbacks may feel like setbacks but there are actually lessons in it needed for our growth.

    As long as you retract the lesson from the setback, it is no longer a set back.

    Reiki feels like the deepest deep breath you’ll ever take. You get introduced to this peace that washes over you that you don’t normally experience in your day to day life. The tension around your heart is relaxed and your mind is released. Whatever thoughts, stressors, anxiety that bothered you doesn’t even matter anymore. Everything now seems minute, silly and meaningless. You just have this knowing that everything will be okay.

    The Untethered Soul

    ​I come across a lot of people who overthink a lot. Who let their minds control them. I feel it over your forehead when I give reiki. It’s actually pretty common. For this, I recommend reading The Untethered Soul by Michael Singer. This book changed my life and a lot of my clients lives. It will teach you to be the watcher of your mind, to grow a higher consciousness than your mind, and not BE your mind. So you can nab negative thoughts right away, and gain more peace within the present moment.

    Breathe

    When you get too lost in your thoughts, return to your breath.

    Take five, slow deep breaths. When you inhale, envision breathing in positive energy. White light. When you exhale, blow out all the negative. Gray smoke.

    The longer you exhale, the deeper you sink.

    If you add an audible sound to your exhale, it changes the physiology of your body.

    Now you are back in the present moment. Where everything is actually okay.

    This book I’m reading (Inward by Yung Pueblo) is on point!

    It’s crazy how society still see massage as a luxury instead of an act of self love.

    We are all given a vessel, our body. Is catering the shell that your soul lives in a luxury?

    We only get one. What if we were to be assigned one car to drive our whole life in, would you give it routine oil changes?

    Some health care regimen of a massage is better than none at all.

    How are we to provide an abundant of love and assistance if the shell our soul lives in is contracted?

    You can’t pour from an empty cup. Treat yourself to routine acts of self love. Then everyone gets the overflow.
